About KitnaSIP
KitnaSIP started from a simple frustration: every SIP calculator tells you the amount you need, but none checks the amount you can actually afford. If you're a salaried professional in India trying to plan honestly, that gap is exactly where the anxiety lives.
What this tool does — and doesn't
KitnaSIP takes your income, expenses, goal and horizon, adjusts the goal for inflation, and shows you the monthly SIP it really needs — then compares that to your surplus and gives you levers to close any gap. It's free, needs no signup, and there's nothing to buy.
It is an educational tool, not investment advice. KitnaSIP never recommends specific mutual funds. It shows illustrative projections based on assumptions you control, and points you to fund categories to research — never named funds to buy. For a personal plan, please consult a SEBI-registered investment adviser.
How KitnaSIP is funded
KitnaSIP is free to use. If it ever earns anything, it's through a fixed referral fee when someone chooses to open a demat account via a partner link, and through display advertising — never by charging for advice or selling fund recommendations. Those payouts never change what you pay or what the tool shows you.
Who writes this
KitnaSIP Team — breaks down money for salaried folks who were never taught this stuff, minus the jargon and the fund tips. Have a question or spotted something wrong? Get in touch.
